Simple Homemade Fabric Pumpkin Centerpieces

Craft your own pumpkins  using old quilts and fabric scraps.

Start with a round piece of fabric and a ball of batting (about the size you want your finished pumpkin to be). Gather up the fabric around the batting and hot glue it together in the center.

Collect dried stems, or purchase faux stems, and attach with hot glue for a realistic touch.

These would make a super cute centerpiece...or be an adorable accent to a mantel or buffet as well.

Do It Yourself -- Flower Planter with Built-in Bird Bath

Having potted flowers outside always helps to make your space look nice, but adding a birdbath makes it look interesting too...not to mention your little feathery friends will love it!!!

This fun DIY project is simple and fun.

The bottom tier allows space for beautiful cascading flowers while the top provides a coordinating birdbath. The possible color and style combinations are nearly endless.

This is what you will need:

17" urn

12" urn

10" terracotta saucer

Spray Paint

Potting mix

Flowers

Start by drilling holes in the larger urn for drainage..then grab your spray paint urns and saucer...once dry place the small urn upside down inside the larger one..then start filling potting soil  around the small urn and plant your flowers....once done take your saucer add it to the small urns bottom which is sticking up out of the soil and flowers...add some water and you are done!!!
